Lately, when a free version of the tools is required by someone who is not comfortable with Linux, I've been recommending the CloneZilla LiveCD which has TestDisk and ddrescue in it It download and i burnt it off on a cd.I tried to run it on the laptop and changed the boot sequence to boot from CD-ROM but it wouldn't boot.It kept AmmO You R a LEGEND!!!!!
