Thanks Based on the above I'm marking [/questions/1006932#answer-593158 his answer above] as the solution, since it included links to different ways to disable Flash protected mode. I checked the current version and it is the latest one, 16.0.0.305 for Firefox and Windows 7 . Maybe Adobe will step up and push some fixes. I have worked on a lot of this, even though all is still working since latest un/reinstall.
